AC Delco Filter on Raptor

Yea, we need to go riding. I have been to Bulcher the last two Sundays. I have some new color plastic, blue with white stress marks[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img] I have not been spending much time on the ATV web sites. My Bad. I came to this forum yesterday and it has changed. Looks cool[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Notice my character. Good Cop/Bad Cop. Well gota run. BlueRaptor.

AC Delco #2057. It has both a releif valve and bypass valve. $5.00 at a local parts house. It is the same as on a 97 Mazda MPV V6 3.0
Do not try a Puralator, it will not fit even though the book says it is for the Mazda. It is not recessed enough to clear the large nut on the Raptor's threads.

k&n has a oil filter for the Raptor and thequadshop will have them
in next week.
since ac delco has one #2057 I wonder if fram will have one out.

The AC Delco is not made for the Raptor. I went through the books looking for thread and pitch sizes until I found one that would work. The corresponding Fram will not work either because it is not concave enough.

i was hopen someone would find one that would work. the dealer really
gives it to you on the filters.

Are you still using this ac delco oil filter? wondering if you have been trouble free.

warrior007- i have been using the 2057 for a year now. Ever since i saw it on raptorriders quad. No problems.
