the maintenance just dosnt go for the BANSHEE. it goes for all quads. even my 250r was in poor shape when i bought it used. all you can do is look it over good and take it for a spin and check things out. and always have a little money extra for repairs when buying a used bike.

I disagree, maybe the maintenance is high on another two-stroke but let's face it, you don't see as many guys messing around with their four stroke bikes as much as the two-strokes. That's one of the pluses of it being four stroked. The big plus on two-strokes is the arm ripping powerband. It's more what you want. If I had the money and time to spend on a Banshee, I'd go with it. I have a 400EX now and I did the break in maintenance, that's it but I do miss my Banshee. Honda's are slow!!!Buying used you have to know what to look for. Don't get ripped like I did.

If you are not ready to take some time to maintain your 2 stroke then dont buy one or you are going hate it.
