I have a 2001 Warrior. I was thinking of installing a K&N filter,
K&N jet kit and a White Brothers Pro Meg Silencer. Any suggestions or advice would help.

I would suggest getting a Pro Design intake kit. This kit allows you to convert the POS slide in filter to a clamp on. The stock filter is only held to the intake track by a bead of grease and the grove in the box and on the lid. Pro Design sells the adapter by its self or you can get the filter, adapter, and outer wear all in one. The air box lid is a little tight with the outerwear on but the filter is a two stage filter w/o the outer wear.

I have a K&N filter on mine and I like it. It's a very little gain, but noticable if you take the baffle out of the stock pipe. I have had a WB pro meg pipe on order for over a month now. It is on back order in two different warehouses. I would suggest putting a 14 tooth front sprocket on. It makes a big difference in speed, and it makes the shifting feel a little bit smoother. Just suggestions!

Yeah, if you haven't bought the K&N filter yet, DON'T. Get the ProDesign set-up for the clamp on K&N. I haven't had any problems with my "stock" style K&N, but I wish I got the clamp-on kit instead. I just gotta pay good attention when re-installing mine.

If I get the Pro Design intake and clamp on filter can I run without the airbox lid?
