Ok, I need some help from you more experienced guys. I have a friend that wants to get as much bolt on power as possible, without modifying the motor. I wonder if anyone knows how much of a HP gain an aftermarket carb would provide? What pipe / silencer combo is "the best"? Anyone have a K&N filter?

Thanks for your input!

tell your freind just to buy a silencer the head pipe is allready on the big side so it doesnt restrict much. take the lid off the airbox or gut it out. throw an aftermarket filter on it (K&Ns good for sand, foams good for everything else) and jet the carb this should give your friend some better performance out of his worrier. as far as the carb i think the stock one is fine but if you going to bore your moter id go with a bigger one. also a cam would really wake things up
