I am thinking of buying a slghtly modded blaster. It is a '98 with an fmf pipe, twist throttle, dougles chrome rims, new handel bars, for only a thousand dollors. The only down side is that it neeeds new brakes. Do you think this is a good deal? What do you guys think of your blasters?

That sounds like a killer deal, I'd jump on it a.s.a.p. This is my 3rd blaster, blasters are great fun, actually I'd like to have another (for jumping) I think its an exilirating ride.. To get the full feel you've gotta throw that sucker around.. It may not be the biggest or baddest, but it goes everywhere the bigdogs do and almost as fast (faster then some!) and it jumps like a frog.. I truly feel they are the best bang for your buck.. If properly maintained they are bulletproof little screamers.

That is real good. I paid $1000 for my '93 and it was mostly stock. All blasters need new brake, even brand new ones I'd go for it if I were you.

I would get that NOW. It sounds fine. I mean, the rims them slef almost cost 1/2 that price not including the pipe and all...
