I was reading the classifieds in my Message Board and there was a 2000 Yamaha Blaster for only $850obo......so i call the owner and i talked to his mom, she said that it was blown up once and he put about $100 in it to rebuild the top-end, and then he blew it up a second time, Now he wants to sell it cause he don't want to put the money in it to rebuild the top-end again.....But, i was thinking that why would he be selling it for $850 if for another $100 he can fix it again....there must be more to it since he blew it up a second time don't ya think?? Let me know what i should do!! Thanx

Sounds reasonable @ $850.00. If you had to put $400.00 to $600.00 into it you still would have a good deal. I'd offer them $700.00 cash. Any amount you get it for less then the asking price is money saved.
Off topic question To Mr45auto:
I see you have an LT80 with a DG pipe. What main & pilot jets are you running? Also what needle setting are you at? Are you running the stock air box or did you modify it? IF so how?
Thanks, Rude Dog

The LT80 is running with it's stock jetting and a drilled airbox. It has 2 1-inch holes in it. The pipe is an older design DG. It really allows it to rev but at the cost of bottom end power. Going to have LRD rebuild the clutch for a higher engagement RPM to offset the loss down low. Probably going to bore it up as big as it will go without sleeving. These little quads need alot of help.
