My banshee overheats all of the time!!!argh! lol but anyways when i ride it the clutch gets hot too fast, the radiator fluid gets so hot that it boils up and comes out of the overflow hose, and it fouls plugs constantly. i am going to go get a bosche platinum plug asap i thing or a splitfire which is better? i have ngk in right now but they keep fouling. but, back to the point...how can i keep it from overheating??? thanx alot in advance!!!! well ttyl cya!

From what I here banshees are prone to overheating. Those multiple tip spark plugs don't work. The spark will not jump both gaps at the same time, just the one that has less resistance. It sounds like it isn't jetted properly.If it is too lean or too rich it will overheat. As for the clutch, it may be slipping and produceing a lot more friction and heat. I don't own a banshee but that sounds like the problem.

yeah man, the clutch is starting to slip....i was thinking about maybe getting an aftermarket heavy duty clutch...does anyone have one of these? do they do good? also how do you jet a banshee? thanx alot!!!! ttyl cya!

 

p.s. i put a 19 fin hydro cooler on the radiator hose but it didnt help much...the radiator fluid still got hot and boiled out of the verflow hose!!! is there any other way to help cool the banshee down>??? ive heard of cool heads and larger radiators and stuff. do they help and what else is there to help me? well thanx again and i will ttyl cya

ohhh....that was pretty cold...saying that i dont own a banshee...I think that YOU are the one that doesnt know anything. if it is one thing i hate is a smart elec person that doesnt help anyone, but just acts like he is king. i think your jeolous that you dont have what i got. ha what do you have to say to that ? thats what i thought. all i want is someone to tell me how to correct this problem and here you go . i bet your wife is a man. i dont want any more respnses from you please.

Well heres the cure for the overheating. Pull out the plugs and pour about a cup 1/2 half of water in each cylibder. That outta do it. Hope I helped.
