My Warrior doesn't like tp idle when I first start it up. Once I ride it the idle is fine but if I don't use the choke or feather the gas for a min. it wants to die. Is this normal or do I need to idle it up some? I don't have a tach to set the idle with so I've been going by ear.

That's completly normal. All machines have to warm up and get the lube flowing good before they will idle right. It's just like a car. On warmer days here it doesn't take long at all, but if it is cold out it will occasionally take a couple of minutes before the idle levels out.

Woodwarrior is right. The machine just has to warm up a little before it will idle OK. Warm it up, ride it, enjoy it. Good machine, eh?
