I hate to rain on your honda parade MrC01400EX,but talk about boring how about owning a so called sport quad(400ex) and having a 500lbs "farm quad"
spank you with no problem, man my last trip to buttercup dunes I was letting off the throttle and waiving the 400ex,s to hurry up..no joke!
then would hammer it and leave them in the roost.and yes that trick works as good on 440ex's too.And remember this is a trail mod(about 55hp) quad HPD racing also make a race mod(75hp) kit...and thats FAST.
And last time I was a the drag strip about 99% of the drag cars had automatics???????

Well of course it would beat my 400EX.. look how modified it is.
Too bad you need to modify it, for you to get such compliments on it.

Stock 400EX's are loved by MANY MANY MANY people. Cant say that about too many polaris's.

Why dont we discuss this in the woods, or on the track, or anywhere else.
huh? Didnt think so.

Take your automatic farm/utility quad with sport fenders, and shove it.

We 300EX's,400EX's, Raptors, Banshees, Blasters, Warriors, Mojaves owners dont HAVE to modify the crap out of our bikes to love riding them.
They are fun, SPORT quads. Whats entertaining about screwing around
in the woods, or hilly area with a fully automatic, non shifting quad?

"Whats entertaining about screwing around in the woods, or hilly area with a fully automatic, non shifting quad?"......Beating cry babies like you thats what!and by the way my 400 was beating 400ex,s like your long before the porting, billet head,39mm carb..ect. all it took was a pipe and clutch kit to take care of 400ex,s and seeing that the polaris is giving up like what? 100-150lbs to the honda thats sad...4 stroke joke.

"Why dont we discuss this in the woods, or on the track, or anywhere else.

O.k. lets discuss. Woods?? when and where lets play.
track?? theres a few tracks here in AZ lets play.
I have had my 400 to the track have you??
it plays well with banshees at the track
can your ex, huh? I dont think so.

"Take your automatic farm/utility quad with sport fenders, and shove it"

O.k. I will, come on down to Tucson I have a place already picked out to "shove it" but be warned..bring your lube MrC01400EX because your going home bow legged.

Well, its too bad the Banshee isnt as great on a motox track as the 400EX.
Your heavy a$$ polaris cant jump worth of crap with its car struts, and you know it.

And you think your polaris can handle with an EX or an R?

Gimme a break dude. Your quad might be fast, but it aint no handler or jumper.

You bring up a good point with your "4 stroke joke".

A 2 stroke 250 cc R STOCK can beat my 400CC 4 stroke.

Your 400 cc TWO stroke cannot beat my 400 cc 4 stroke, stock to stock.

I think, your 400 is more the "TWO STROKE JOKE". Wouldnt you agree?

You know, I just dont understand. Your right. Your beast is 150 lbs heavier.

WHERE??? In its quality AMERICAN craftsmanship? No, it was made from a utility machine.

Thats a funny thought. You have to modify your 400CC 2 stroke, to keep up with my 400CC 4 stroke. Now, imagin if I spent that much money on my quad....
I dont need to though, mines already a great machine.

Let's see, the HPD Full Race Mod is $1500 and good for 75hp. After discussing this on the Honda forum it looks like the 440ex kit is about $1500. I don't think you'd win.

From the looks of his mods, azelmo probably doesn't have much over $600 into his quad (maybe a little more with the carb). The MSRP on them is $4900 Brand new and you can usually pick them up for a couple hundred cheaper. What's the price of a 400ex? Close to $5800 isn't it? I don't know, I've never wanted to buy one.

Either way, I think your above theory isn't going to work for you.

As for all this talk about the 400ex being faster in the woods and on the track....maybe so. It's mostly the rider anyway, but the 400ex probably has a better potential. Some people aren't looking for that though.

It's funny how no matter what, the Scrambler isn't as good of a quad. If the 400ex handles better, but the Scrambler is faster that still means the 400ex is better. How do you figure?

Believe it or not, but SOME people don't give a rats @$$ about jumping and crap like that and only care about SPEED. A lot of people I know ride strictly in fields and on dirt roads. A slightly modded Scrambler ($200 worth of mods) would eat an EX for breakfast.

Just because something is good for you doesn't mean that it's good for everybody else. It goes both ways.

I am not saying that a Scrambler is BETTER, than an EX, and I'm not saying that the EX is better than a Scrambler. It's stricly up to the person that rides them to decide based on their riding style/conditions.
