hey everybody. I'm new to atv's and I currently own a 2000 blaster. I just got an fmf pipe and k&n airfilter and know that I need to change my jetting. the local yamaha dealer said he could do it or I could myself. Is it hard, or should i be able to do it by myself without having to pay him to. and does anybody happen to know what # jet to use if I do it myself any help is greatly appreciated since I know absolutly nothing about this toppic. thanks

You should go to www.blastercentral.com and look for "jetting 101" this will help a TON.

Blaster Central has a great article called "jetting 101" take a look at that, it should answer any questions you have. Get yourself a manual, believe me it is a life saver. It tells you how to jet it as well as all mientanance and repair.
Jetting is a bike specific thing. Someone with the exact same mods as you at the same elevation might need different jetting. No one will be able to tell you exactly how to set up you quad without being there in person.
