2 stroke ??????????

how often do you have to rebuild a 2 stroke? how much does it usually cost to get it

It all depends on how hard you ride it. If you race every weekend you could get away with rebuilding it every year. If you are a cusual rider like most of us, it could be 1 1/2 years to 5-6 years. It is usually every 300-400 hours, maybe more I'm not too sure. As for cost, it depends on what it needs. Top end rebuild kits are anywhere from $60-$200 that includes piston. rings, wrist pin, clips, and a gasket set. It would cost about $50 to bore and hone the cylinder if it is scratched too bad to be honed.
