I just trashed my bike(raptor),about 2hrs ago.Riding somewhere new, following someone,it was dusty.I hit a rock going about 35-40mph dead on.Crushed the left side a-arms(upper/lower),shock,and tie rod.Anyway,mu ? is,on top of the shock where it goes into the frame(shock mount),the shock snapped right their.I wanted to find out who made the shocks for the raptor, and if you could just buy the eye ball top part of the shock were it sits on the spring and goes into the shock mount on the frame? Also,my car boots keep popping off,I've adjusted teh idling up(smell gas all the time),wondering if some aftermarket company has made a boot that won't come off? Also is their anyone I can call or get in touch with that can make me a specila graffix kit for my raptor? It's black/white and I have the IMS 5.0gallon fuel tank on it,ims sells a tank sticker but itas blue and only matches the blue raptors, not the black ones!If you have something for sale e-mail me:tharapscola@yahoo.com
Thanks!

You need to richen the idle curcuit, not raise the speed of your idle (don't worry, common assumption/mistake).
First, set your idle back to where it was, then locate the air/fuel mixture screw (usually located directly under carb, to the front of the float bowl - not sure on exact location with raptor). Then turn the screw out around 1/2 turn (both carbs) - this will richen your mixture.

call your dealer about the replacement carb boots, i did and they fixed my problem, with them blowing off all the time, the carb adjustments did not help me, i have been thru my carbs a few times, i used different clamps and safety wired the carbs to the motor and it worked, but after i got the new boots they solved the problem, i got you a new set of tie rods, call cycle pros for the arms and shocks, i sold them mine
