This Saturday (21st) the track and trails in Aledo will be open for everybody in the Raptor Riders of North Texas club. We hope many of you can make it. We had to postpone the opening last Saturday. Hopefully we did not cause a problem for anybody. For those that can come send me an email for directions. you can also call me for information. I will post more information as the time gets closer. There are trees for shade and access to the river to play in.

 

So far we have about a dozen riders showing up. There is plenty of room for more. The place is Aledo Texas. Aledo is about 20 miles west of Fort Worth just before Weatherford. All you guys that we met at Muenster and the dunes come and join us. We are looking at doing some cooking on the grill, riding the track and trails, and just hanging out. We are also looking for ideas to improve the riding areas.

 

For those that do not know anything about the track... It is right at a half mile long with 13 high burm turns and many jumps. The jumps are friendly as of now for novice riders. the track can be converted to a real competive condition in a short amount of time. There is also at this time about 5 miles of trails with another 7 miles to come in the future. There is also a river running through the property to play in.

 

What time is it and what is the cost? I will spread the word

 

The cost is ZERO, We are putting together a day for our friends and club members to get input for improvements. We are in a Raptor club and would like to see as many Raptors as possible show up.
