Is their any differences between 2000 and 2001 banshee. Is their a way to tell the year, like graphics or stand out markings. What is the gas oil mix for a totaly stock banshee?

 

a 2000 banshee has the yamaha label on the front fenders and a 2001 has it on the fender in back of the bumper
the 2000 banshee label and the 350 twin is bold and bigger in size than a 2001

i heard from my dealer it's 4 oz. for ev gallon

 

24:1

 

32:1 always. Owners manual says 24:1 but thats bull. Way too rich

 

2001 banshees have a new airbox, similar to the Raptor...
I mix 50:1...maybe a little richer, like 45:1...32:1 was way too much...forget about 24:1!!!!

 

I mix 1 pint of Maxima Super-M to 5 gal. of gas, which is 40:1. And this is how my motor is set-up: Banshee motor with a cool head w/20cc domes, 300 main jets, K&N filter w/outerwear, no airbox lid, Paul Turner mid-range pipes, cascade silencer's. I ride the Oregon dunes, which the elevation is at sea level.

 

I dont know anything about Banshees but I was woundering were you Floridians ride???
