Must be Yamaha "accidently" dropped a Banshee engine in your Blaster cause there is NO WAY that it will do 65mph stock (unless it is the situation that 660R01 described).

Dude, look at it this way...The Warrior is faster than the Blaster (stock vs. stock). My friend owns a Warrior, and when my Polaris was stock it would still smoke it on low end, midrange, and top end. I had him by at least 4mph or so. Now if the Blaster goes 65mph, then the Warrior goes like 67-68mph, which means my sport goes around 72mph, which means that it is the same speed as my Banshee. Hate to break it to you, but that's not the case.

Now I apologize, and MAYBE YOUR Blaster does really go 65mph stock, BUT if you ask anybody else on here that owns a Blaster (and hasn't hit the crack pipe recently) they will say that the top speed is between 50-60mph (I don't think I've even heard anybody say that it would hit 60mph stock).

If I were you, I would change the gearing on your Blaster to give you a little more top-end, and then you can go embarrass some 400ex owners. Add a pipe and you'll be beating Raptor owners.

Hold onto that thing...it's a rare bird.

Hey, I'm not as diplomatic as Piranha. I think that you are either intellectually challenged or honesty challenged... Hey, that actually was pretty diplomatic.

You're full of it... There, that's what I wanted to say.

I dunno, he may be right. The 2001 blaster had tighter springs in their canooter valves, plus yamaha got their powerbands from a different supplier starting that year.
