My warrior is an 88, the Vin's are stamped into the frame. They dont "rub off", File off, or grind off maybe, but not rub off. I would be leary of anything that is questionable out there. My 88 has a Ohio title and the vins check out good. Just be careful with older quads, you dont want to get nabbed with stolen property. Also get a signed reciept with any purchase, check it with there ID.

No. If the VIN got "rubbed" off it is very likely it was stolen. It's stamped into the frame so it can't come off. Check the numbers on the engine too.

Mine is a 87 and it is near the floor boards on the frmae. How do you check the VIN on the motor? How do you check to the VIN to see if it was stolen?
