DO NOT BUY THEM! They will bend your axle if you jump with them. Last week I watched a 300EX pull onto the track with them. He landed a little sideways off the step-up, and that was the end of his axle. I've seen it happen to others before as well.

Repeat:
Don't buy them! I tried them and I bent my axle when I barely clipped a 2" poplar tree.

So, are spacers only a problem on 2WD racing units? I have 2 5/8" spacers on all 4 tires and I've never bent a rim. Although, I don't do much jumping with a 500# 4WD unit but I've run into my share of obstacles. I figure that a bad landing would bend any rim - with or without spacers.

Maybe it's because that 2WD axles might be of a lighter construction/design?

rrinc-
we were talking about how spindles bend the rear axels (not the rims)

i'm not even going to think of getting them now. if you think about it, the spindles do ad presure to the axel. i don't know about 4WD quads. if the quad has independ suspension then i that would be a different story.

Default wheel spacers

I have raced my share of MX races and GNCC races with 2" spacers on the rear of my Raptor. Did it for about a year with no problems. I am a novice class racer so I don't do any huge jumps, but enough to bottom out my suspension a few times. The only time I bent my axle was when I caught a tree with the right rear tire in a XC race. Bent the axle (about 1/4 inch) and broke my swingarm. Maybe the Raptor axle is stronger than the Blaster or 300EX, I don't know. Good Luck with your decision.
