I am going to order a k&n filter w/ outerwears, and boyeson power reeds this tuesday. Will this make it accelerate faster or the top end increase/decrease? if so i will have to order another sprocket to suit the needs. i like popping it up going in about 2nd or 3rd gear and i ride alot of dirt roads and maybe a few trails. Well thanx for looking, ttyl cya!!!
PS: I am extremely anxious to see how these mods do. will they improve alot?

Yeah, it will help, but unless you have a pro-flow kit, you don't need an outerwear. The only reason people run outerwears is to take the airbox lid off, to get more air. You can't take the airbox lid off without a proflow kit. You can get Uni-Vents... Or drill a big hole in your airbox lid, and run an outerwear. If you get too much airflow, you will have to rejet

Are you talking about your Blaster or Banshee? If Banshee, no, you cannot take your airbox lid off without the pro-flow kit. The Banshee Airbox design uses the lid to hold the filter in place. If you don't have a pro-flow, and you take the lid off, your filter will move around.. and you will scar your cylinders

I went to my Yamaha dealership and ordered an airbox lid for my Warrior. It was $9.00 When I got it home I cut all I could out of the lid except for the 5 screw holes that hold it on plus I left the pieces on it that hold the filter in place. Now it runs just like there was no lid and I saved my original airbox lid with the 1" filters in it for the rainy season.
