Got my new warrior!!
#1
I'm psyched. I just got my new Warrior. Well, it's not exactly new. It's a 2000, but hardly been ridden. It will be here next Saturday. I am a first-time atv owner. In fact, I have only ridden an atv once before so I guess I have a big learnig curve. I am looking forward to it. I live in New Mexico and I have a bunch of dirt trails surrounding my house. If you have any advice for a rookie like me, feel free to fire away.

As a Warrior owner I know the modification bug will hit soon. Do yourself a favor, remember a pipe is not the most important part to get. #1 Skid plates, the Warriors stock skids are pitiful, dont wind up replacing your motor or brake disk because you didnt buy one! #2 Aftermarket rear tires, I use 22x11x9 Maxxis All tracks but almost anything will be a huge handling improvement over the stock balloon tires. #3 Steering stabilizer, The single best mod I've ever done! It will save your butt if you catch a rim on a rock. It's the first thing I'm going to buy for my Raptor. Always remember MAIL ORDER YOUR PARTS!!!! It'll save you a ton of cash.

If you have a tech. ???? about the warrior i could probaly answer it seeing that i totally rebuilt and 87 warrior.
After the skid plates get a White Borthers Pro Meg Scielencer. Then front and rear Bandit Tires after the stock ones wear out.
How much did you spend on this warrior?

Congratulations tbone! Good pick on your 1st quad. You are going to love it. Don't forget the safety equipment. Good helmet, riding boots, etc. Let us know more about the quad. Any modifications done to it? Keep us posted. At least you know where to go for some good advice.
