my warrior was spuddering and i found out that i needed a new air filter what kind should i get a uni or a k&n.Would any air filter increase overall speed?

 

I would go get a prodesign filter kit for the warrior. It is about 100 but resolves the crappy design of the airbox by allowing you to bolt on a filter to keep it in place. I believe those kits come with K&N. Make sure you get a prefilter because the holes in the K&N are rather large and the prefilter helps it alot.

I would get the K&N. The Uni doesnt last as long but the K&N is a little more and the K&N does give it more power

I have a uni and it works great. Most of the time all i need to do is re-oil the first filter stage. My buddy has a K&N and had nothing but problems. My uni works great. i can't say anyting about the speed becawuse i put a pipe on the same timei put my uni on....... it has a LOT more top speed. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
