CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ON WHERE I CAN GO TO GET HYDRO REAR BRAKES FOR MY BLASTER. DOES ANY STOCK APPS FROM OTHER YAMAHAS BOLT UP TO MY SETUP? OR SIGHTS THAT SELL THE CONVERSION?

I know that trenga racng (www.trengaracing.com) sells a Hydro kit for $350, and i've been told it sucks a$$. If you wanted to try to piece something together the best bikes to try to find are warriors or banshees but those are few and far between. I found my hydro set up off a 93 Kawisaki Ninja that my friends son had wrecked. Really if you want to try to piece something together its not going to be just as easy as a bolt on, there will probabbly be some welding and bracket making involved.

I've heard the front caliper from an early 90's(90-92) KTM SX125 will bolt right on without having to make a bracket. You could then find a nice master cylinder and then have some nice brake lines made up.

I have Trenga's new V3 kit and it's awesome. I haven't had a bit of problems with it and the install is very cut and dry. I am very very pleased with my new brakes and my experience with Trenga. I visited Trenga to get these and I will never go anywhere else for anything on my blaster, they are awesome. Eric made my visit there feel very at home. He wants his customers to have the best and if you inquier about something with him he will give you his thoughts on it. If he thinks it's a piece of junk then he will tell you.

Check out Eastcoastatv.com (I think that's the correct address).

They have a bolt on kit for the Blaster for ~$350.

If you check out the EastCoastAtv brakes and the Trenga Brakes, you will see that the EastCoast one's look far superior. The Trenga's are located in a bad place. The EastCoast is similar to a "stock" setup. You might also check out the one's from Hetrick Racing

Good Luck

Is it really worth puting that much money into the blasters brakes??? For that kind of cash, you could get some nice motor work done, but your blaster still wont be fast enough that you need that kind of stopping power. Look at my signature, my money goes for more speed , and I have no problem with stopping.

I would say stopping is worth the kind of money I spent. What good is horsepower if you can not control it. Besides where I ride mud and grit got into the drums wearing out the drums and the shoes very fast, plus I had brakes that did not last. Now I have quick, safe, and reliable braking. I can ride better and faster now, than I ever could before because I can control my Blaster now. If you were smart and relized that speed and power are worthless without the means of controling it, you would understand why I spent the amount of money I did to upgrade my braking system.
