I agree with H300F. Forget the boost bottle and all the other stuff he mentioned. My personal opinions would also to stay away from two-into-one pipes and also it is cheaper and just as effective to modify the stock head (mill off .030" instead of buying a $300 cool head. They look cool and they might run a couple of degrees cooler, but not enough for me. If I wanted my bike to run cooler, I'd get a bigger radiator.
I have Paul Turner Hi-Rev pipes from Duncan Racing. I really like them and they seem to work very well with my motor. It has been modified by Trinity Racing into a Stage 3 420 cc big bore. Of course ported, carbed, etc. Toomeys and FMF also run well. From my observations, the FMF fatty and Paul Turner's Hi-Rev have a little broader powerband, but the FMF doesn't do quite as well on the top. Maybe the FMF SST? Also Trinity told me to use stock reed cage with Carbon Tech reeds ($70).
I also use a Champion spark plug (N6YC or N7YC) and I love them. Plus they are only $1.42 each from Auto Tire and Parts.
