I'm interested in putting a set of Renthal ATV handlebars on my 2002 Warrior. Is it worth it? Anyone have 'em on their own quad?

 

I've got a set on both of my quads. They are better than stock all the way around, especially on the Raptor, which comes with a heavy bar with a funky bend. I run the Banshee bend on both.

 

Run Renthal on the Raptor, 400ex, and even the Kodiak. I prefer the 400ex bend even on the Raptor.

 

Racer's/pro's get aftermarket bars because standard bars are always nice and high for comfort. Racer's prefer the leaning, bent forward "attack" position. I got some Renthals which lower my Raptor bars a couple of inches and move it forward a bit. They are about same width (some racer's look for more leverage by going a bit wider). The first time I sat on my Raptor with the Renthal's I went "whoa" - yes, worth the money....

euroraptor, which renthals did you go with ( what type of bend?)?

 

I will have to get back to you on this - need to ask dealer. Sounds stupid, but I don't know what bend. Had Raptor in at dealer for valve adjustment and he said "try these". He whacked them straight on for me.

Probably something stamped on them too, but Raptor at dealer again after my big wreck.

I had a set of Renthal 250r bend bars on the Raptor too. I didn't like them as much. They put a lot of added pressure on my wrists especially when landing. I can jump higher/further and ride longer with the 400ex bend.
