I've had my 2002 Warrior for a month now and I've gone thru about 4 tanks of gas. In the owners manual it says that I should have my valve clearance checked/adjusted. Not wanting to attempt it myself, I phoned my dealer to ask if I should have them do it. He told me that it wasn't necessary because when they do it they never find the clearances to be out much. Is there any truth to this, or should I insist that they adjust the valves regardless?
Will I ruin the engine if I don't get it done?

Find a buddy taht knows how to do it, and have him check/set them.. I like to think it's better to be safe than sorry!
