I own a 1999 BearTracker, but I never see any post about them? Does anyone else think they are good "light utility" quads?

I personly have riden one a few times,, loved it too, but everyone else hated it.. they all liked the Honda recon, well I like the recon too, but that beartracker was a great machine, we threw a 700lb elk on its rear rack and drove out of some nasty stuff! At least the beartracker looks more like a "real" machine.. the recon may be better, but I have seen little wrong with the Yamaha.. Joe

I never see any posts about the beartracker either. I own a year 2000 model and I love it. It hasn't let me down yet. I my opinion the recon isn't a bad machine but its so small and has very little top end. I personally love the beartracker.

The Recon is small, my girlfriend and I sat on one and she was on the rack. The BearTracker is bigger and around 300 or 400 dollars cheaper. The Recon is 3900 around here and for 300 more I got my Polaris Xplorer 250 4X4. I wanted a BearTracker but they sold the one we looked at and did not know when they were getting one in, and I called around same deal. But I am really happy with the Xplorer.
