I just installed my vitos piston and want to know how long to break it in, and what I should do to break it in. I have just been putting around the yard on it so far and have ran about 3/4 a tank through it. Its bored out to its last bore so I dont want to mess it up.

1995 yamaha blaster- paul turner pipe and silencer, K&N filter w/ outwear, oil injection block off, 14 tooth front sprocket, vitos superstock piston, boysen reeds, bored out .080 over, graydon chassis and swing arm skid plate, and rear holeshots

Run it one more time to warm it up. Then, change the oil and the oil filter. I wouldn't go past half throttle for any extended time periods until you have about 10 hours on it.
