ok guys, my buddies and i are looking for atv's. We're arguing between the warrior 350 and the ex300. They are comparable in price. How do they compare in the following: Top speed, low end power, top end power, handling. We realize the warrior is a bit bigger and 20lbs heavier. Thanks for your help guys! I would get a warrior, the warrior will take a 300, handling is about the same, not sure about top and bottom end. I would bye the warrior.

You would BYE the warrior?
The handling is not the same. The 300EX is lighter, has way better suspention and handles
MUCH MUCH better. No question.

I would BUY the 300EX.

so true so true. the 300 has great lowend, better than the warriors in my opinion. their both ultra reliable bikes so i'd just see if you could ride em both and then get which one fits you best.

Here's an idea,

Go up there and click on the little SEARCH button. Type in 300EX vs. Warrior for the title, and click in the Yamaha and Honda post boxes. I'm sure you will get more information that way than having people reply to it. We have replied to this post 100's of times, and there never seems to be a definate winner.

The ***** in your pants.. Or Court

I agree with lonestar, but I'll answer anyway.

I have answered this question a lot of times, so to keep it short and sweet this is what I have to say...

The Warrior is faster in a straight line, no doubt about it. However, if the 300ex was the same speed I would deffinatly pick it over the Warrior.

Take it as you will.

I helped a buddie lift the back of his 2001 warrior into his truck.

It felt WAY, WAY heavier than my 01' 400EX. I couldnt believe it. I was NOT expecting it.

(I just read that the 400EX is slightly lighter than the 300EX, though)
You CAN feel the extra heft in the warrior.
