Ever thought of getting another ATV? I own a Mojave, and am very happy with it. I would choose it over a Warrior. The 300ex handles great, and the Mojave is pretty close to it. With the money you save, you could modify the quad slightly, new tires, exhaust, jet kit... It would then be as fast, if not faster then a 300ex. Just tryin to help.

Handling: 300EX. Everything else, Warrior. There is no substitute for displacement, ever (except a turbo). That's why I ended up with a Raptor. The 300EX is a 282cc, the Warrior a 348cc. You're beginning with more, so you get more. The Warrior is really closer to the 400EX. You can improve tha handling on the Warrior just by dumping the stock tires and getting anything else. I t would be hard to choose a worse tire than stock. Go figure.

It's amazing the BS some people throw out in here. The Warrior is heavier, but unless you are stopped and lifting it, you aren't going to notice it. I am 6'2" and only 135 lbs. I rolled my Warrior the other day and it landed on a fence. I rolled it over and then due to the way it was sitting on the fence, I had to lift the rear end clear over my head so that I could move it to the side. It was no problem, and trust me... at 135 lbs, I am not the strongest guy out there.
The 300EX does handle better, but for most riding you aren't going to notice it (if you put different tires on the Warrior.) The stock tires are capable of performing (getting you from point A to point B) but they aren't going to do it w/ style, comfort, or ease. If you change tires you will notice a huge difference (I haven't cause I don't have cash, but have ridden Warriors w/ MX and mud tires on them.)
The reason I picked the Warrior is cause I wanted reverse (which ruled out a 400EX) and the extra power the Warrior gives you (in all gears) comes in very handy on tough trails, and compensates for the rest of the handling difference (once you change tires and learn to use the power in situations where it is needed.)
End of my book.

BansheeMan69:

Dude, I cannot even understand your post. You make no sence.
Let me tell you this. (NOT bashing the Warrior)
I hope you arnt compairing the 400EX to the Warrior. They are different machines
with different intentions. The 400 will kill it, in any and every situation.
Like I said, im not bashing the Warrior, im just stating a fact.
I used to have a 2001 400EX, (sold to pay off credit cards
and the power difference is huge between the two.

To the person who said there is only 10 pounds difference:
Between what? The 300 and 400, the 400 is about 3-4 pounds lighter according to the Honda site. The Warrior is 20 pounds heavier than the 300EX.

If the 300 has any types of mods it will smack a warrior and handling is day and night difference the 300 handles great compared to the warrior you take both fully moded and the 300 is going to win
