I have a 99 Timber Wolf 4X4. While riding steap grades at Tellico it would bogg down in 1st gear to a stop and sometimes it would die. There is no low end power. Is this normal or does my quad have a problem?

 

If I knew how steep and long the grades are
I could tell you better.

No the T-wolf is no powerhouse, another case
where Yamaha is sitting on their hands,
they may have found Silver when they dug
up th old XT600 motor to make the Grizzly,
Honda found Gold when the took the old XR
400 and made the TRX400(motor that is)
, but you can only go to the well so many
times.
