Don't you think Yamaha would be awsome if they put the YZ400 4-stroke in a quad??

Yeah, just listen to the man above! lol
But seriously guys(and gals), since the government is coming down so harshly on 2-stroke ATV's.....and 4-strokes are growing more and more popular...I think the 400 or the new 426(preferably) would be a perfect canidate....if Honda can do it.....Yamaha can do it better... 10-4

Kory Ellis and H. Goodman have YZ400 quads in lager frames and are doing good inthe races. Some guy wrote Dirt Wheels who put a YZ400 in his Warrior and won a race against Banshees and 250R's. Yamaha has to be reading the same stuff that we are. They would done not to. I am not saying they replace either the Banshee or Warrior, but just add the YZ400 quad and see how it does.
P.S. I saw an ad for aftermarket exhaust and it was for a YZ400 QUAD.

I don't think it's question if would be awesome or not. The real question is IF and When?
P.S. Yamaha better hurry up and make a decision 'cause I'm about to jump to big red and buy a 400ex if I can't get a straight answer from them.

NOT ONLY DO WE ATV RIDERS HOPE OF A YAMAHA YZ400, BUT A RACE READY QUAD. THATS RIGHT JUST LIKE THE DIRTBIKES. I NOTICED THAT DIRTBIKE RIDERS AND/OR RACERS DON'T HAVE TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY SETTING THEIR BIKES UP FOR ANY TYPE OF RACING; IT USUALLY REQUIRES A TIRE CHANGE. WHY DOESN'T THE QUAD MFRS DO THE SAME. I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT A SOPHISTICATED MACHINE LIKE THE LEAGER QUADS, BUT SOMETHING THAT HAS BETTER SUSPENSION AND ADJUSTABLE AXLES FOR DIFFERENT RIDING AND/OR RACING APPLIATIONS. WHAT DOES THE GENERAL RIDERS THINK OF THIS IDEA?
