I have a 97' blaster that isn't getting the throttle response like it ought to. I cleaned the air filter and oiled it. I haven't messed with the air/fuel mixture screw. Anyways, how many times is it suppose to be unscrewed? 2and 3/4 turns out? anyways, it's not popping wheelies as good as it usually does in 2nd gear and isn't accelerating to it's max potential. I'ts still accelerating ok, but not like it usually does. please, need help. reply back.

Check the tips of your reeds for cracks or worn spots. Also check/change your plug and make sure you are running fresh gas.

Have you done a compression test? Might be time for new rings.

Getting a set of reeds will make it have better throttle response
