Plastic Skid Plates
#2
The plastic swingarm one lasted 1 day; the aluminum aftermarket main skid plate will last forever, but the aluminum swingarm skidplate only lasted 2 months.
A stainless steel swingarm skidplate from pro-tect (317 467.1701)is on order, and should last a long time (it's what the cross-country racers use).

didnt take long at all. my swingarm skid has holes in it and has pulled through the front bolts so only the rear are holding it up. same deal with the front, pulled right through some of the bolts and cracked it and put holes in it. i put a gytr full skid under the chassis and am eyeballing the prm for the rear.

plastic skid plate lasted about a month as it ripped off on some rocks, since then I am on my third aluminum swingarm skidplate, one of which bent into my rear brake rotor and totally destroyed it. I noticed durablue has a new high strength rubberized plastic one that is suposed to be indestructible, but it sure looks ugly
