A friend of mine has a 98 warrior, and in neutral the thing will not roll . You can push it but it is extremely hard to push. We pulled the chain and the axle is free but the front sproket can not be turned by hand. the machine runs fine and will freely shift trough the gears. Some one told us the shift forks needed to be adjusted. Has anyone had this problem? and can it be corrected without complete teardown?

Brad if yours dont move with the clutch in that means your clutch is adjusted to tight. Or your clutch might be going bad...

Well we found the problem, after a complete tear down , we found a needle bearing that had work out of the case and was putting the trans. shaft in a bind. the bearing presses in the case half, but it had worked it's way about 1/4 of the way out.
