My reply was honest and from the heart. The race was on pavement and witnessed by many people.I own a Bombardier ds 650, mojave 250, Raptor, Honda 400ex and praire 650.As you can see I like quads all quads and think bashing any brand is moranic at best.If that is the way it came off then I appolagise. We are very lucky with all the choices available today so quit complaining and go riding

My brother has the Griz660, I have the Prairie 650. For the type of riding you describe I would choose the Griz. One real life difference is the Griz vibrates (not intrusively), the Kawi is smooth.

They both go through lots of gas.

Try to ride both if you can.

I believe the biggest difference between these two quads is who's in the saddle. I don't know how many times I've seen someone stuck in a hole on their 4x4 and some guy on a 220 or a ragged threewheeler runs right by them. I've seen a lot of good machines with not so good riders on the trail. Find the one you like, they're all winners.

I said two quads, because I don't know anything about the polaris, except that it will be a lot heavier than the others.

Boxofrokx hit the nail on the head with the reliability question, a large population of ATV owners must be surveyed to get any statistically worthwhile reliability figures.
Most post writers, excepting Andy B. and maybe a couple others, tend to cast their ATV in the most favorable light and to stoically overlook design deficiencies and mechanical problems encountered.
I'd like to go on record as saying my 2000 Kodiak still vibrates too G.D. much for my liking, reverse should have been geared lower, it's more tippy than my 300 FourTrax was, and it should have come from the factory with a skidplate for the swingarm boot. Do I like it anyway and would I recommend it to others? Do bears defecate in the woods?
