I personally think that a kid on a Banshee that is experienced is a damn good rider, just like any other adult. I just don't like it when kids get them cuz they are cool. I'm 14 and I got my 250R when I was like 13 or 12 or somthing. I fixed it up with some help set it up for MX, got a 400Ex and are setting it up for Xc. I don't think I could be happier(i could if i had mroe quads)

im 15 and have a 88 banshee. i started out on a blaster just to see if i liked riding quads before i went out and blew 3500 bucks. i think if the kid wants a banshee let have a banshee. just b/c the things got six gears dont mean hes got to use all of them. o ya it is possible for 14 yr olds to get jobs you just have to want to get one.

I'm half half with airinitouts post. If the kid wants it, that doesn't justify geting it. YOur just asking for a major injury there. IF the kid is experienced and knows what he is doing very well, I say go for it. I too started oiut on the Blaster and it helps alot to start small and work your way up instead of starting right away.

Is it illegal for kids to actually buy a banshee from a dealer? What would be the punishment for a kid on a machine required for a 16 year old? Same as a car, or not as bad or no punishment at all?
ps
I dont want to set anybody on the wrong street. I only assumed that Kidbanshee and 2000blaster is the same person, but I could be wrong...you know what assuming does to people.

Why are yo guys always saying young people can't ride banshees. i'm 14 and i have rode a banshee a many a times. you just have to be safe and start off easy. i have alot of experience though. i've been riding since i had enough knowledge to know how (9 years i would say). it all depends how you ride it. if you plan to show off and be king of the hill then yeah, your gonna be a greasy spot on the road.

Boys would do well driving a car too...but I think the legal age of 16 is about right. My question again...is it illegal for under 16 to ride a banshee or anything over 90cc and what would be the punishment under law if any?
