A stock banshee will run about 78 or 80, FMF pipes arnt going to change the top speed much, their just going to give it more pick up, go with the Toomey T5s, those r the best pipes if your looking for speed.

Sorry to contradict, but...

Stock top speed is around 72 mph.

The FMF's are good pipes, every bit as good as Toomey's. Either brand will allow the engine to rev out more and give you a higher top speed. I would venture to guess that you'd be able to reach 80 - 85. Plenty fast.

Why don't you go with the Toomey T-6's. Toomey's have far more top end than any other pipe and gives it an awesome sound. Yes I did say T-6 and not T-5, the T-6 should already be out on the market but maybe not till next month. I emailed Toomey a few months ago and told them if they didn't like how the Chrome plating discolors and eventually peels off then why not make the pipes out of Aluminum and polish the hell out of them, they replied by saying good idea since were calling them T-6's and they'll be out around X-mas. E-mail toomey and see if they're out yet.

I think it depends where you ride. I'm just using my friends 2 banshees, one piped, the other not for an example. Around here (woods & trails) you need a lot more low-end. Put the power where you can use it. Now if you ride strickly in the dunes, then top end would be good.
I don't own a Banshee myslef so I can't say, but I've told Toomys are overrated...
I guess it's kinda like the guy who buys a 5.0 and puts Flowmasters on it & thinks it's the baddest around.

i think the pro circuit pipes are copycats of the toomey pipes.
