I have a 2001 blaster with fmf pipes and silencer, carbon fiber reeds, and a 260 jet, I just put all this in and it boggs down like crazy if I have the top to the air box on. I took the snorkle of but that didn't do anything. Should I go down a jet or should I drill holes in the top of the air box and put some screen or something there? with the top off it runs okay still a little hesitation but when it kicked in what a difference I couldn't believe it. Nothing compared to my friends banshee though, but I ain't spending that much on a quad. any suggestions will be help full thanks, also
what other mods would be next on my list??

I had the same problem with my blaster, too. Mine is modified alot as well, and it won't run hardly at all with the filter top on. So unless you go in alot of water, just keep the top off and put an outerwear on the filter. It will screw your jetting up a little, so just play around with it and you should be ready to go.
