Does anyone have a part number for a fram or a wix oil filter for a 98 Grizz?

 

davidg, please see my post on Kodiak/Fram filters. It contains the url to a site about Fram filters quality & failure problems. Check out the feed back. Your Grizz uses an open element and this site mostly blasts "canned" (spin-on) filters but I don't trust Fram anymore. I found what seems to be a great filter for my 2000 Kodiak: Hiflo Filtro pn HF-138. Seems to be VERY high quality from the outside. I'll cut it open next spring and post what I find.My $.02.

 

I also think fram is junk. I was hoping to get a number so I could cross it over to another brand.
