Rocky Mountain has always been VERY good to me but I've had the BEST service AND tech help from Toomey. I've emailed Toomey at 11:00 pm on friday nights and gotten a reply within 20 minutes. Hey it may be a fluke but when ever I have a question they are RIGHT THERE RIGHT NOW. They upgraded my parts to the latest version for a very nominal fee and I was able to work the whole deal though Stuart Toomey himself. If I can't order it thru Toomey, I order from Rocky Mountain. I can't imagine it getting better than these 2 companies!

A friend of mine just got screwed over by Chaparral. He ordered a CR125(black) front and rear fender, an N-Style seat cover, steering stem bearings, and some other little stuff. Well, a week later, Chaparral sent him the "email confirmation" and said all orders have been canceled. Im not sure why.. But it said "Item Cancelled" to the side of everything he ordered..He wrote them an email.. you know.. kinda like, whats going on? and they havent replied.

This is the 1st time I have ever heard/experienced anything bad w/chaparral..

Ditto what Holyman said though, RM and Toomey are GREAT!

I have had good experience with

Carbides

Moto-man

and a motorcycle parts dealer out of Ohio (I will find name later), who sold me axle bearings for my ATC 200X (sold). He told me I wouldn't find a lower price, and sure enough, after an exhaustive search he was right. I will come back and find name later. Excellent service.

That's why you should always use your locl dealer of choice. Some are better than others. Some are more expensive than others. Almost none can compete with the volume buying power of a mail order house, but you get what you pay for. I don't think you were screwed, I just think you were asking for it sooner or later.{Not being rude}

you all seem to have great experience with parts. Anyone recommend where to buy tires for the cheapest price. I checked rocky mountain, seems to be the best so far.

Dont order any pipes from the owner Rich,at Dynoport.He's a masterful lier and does'nt sell you what you request.I made a direct statement to him that the pipe he sends me for my Xplorer,NOT exceed 94db sound level.When I installed it,it was 99 db.I called and bitched about it and they [Dynoport]all a sudden,had a ''no return'' policy.I told him what he could do with his ''no return policy'' and got ahold of my credit card company.He was ORDERED to take the pipe back and was NOT payed for it.

I thank you folks for this subject,its a good one to know!

Bill
