Just checking to see who is headed out the 19, 20, 21? If not that weekend how about 26, 27,28?

 

I am planning on going the 26th if I get my carbs fixed.

Im still in this weekend, I do not know if im bringing anybody or not but i will be there with or without them as of right now Im leaving tommorow night the 18th and will be leaving sunday (with them) or mon, (without) Im in a white chevy 3/4 ton chevy with a pushguard and headache rack and maybe a trailer if thay come, how do you get there from kermit? , can you camp there? any permits needed? thanks, David

They allow overnight camping but it is primative. No permits, first come first serve. They allow fires at the dune park. No electricity, no bathrooms. There is a public park in town with showers and stuff and electrical hookups etc. So you can decide if you want to stay in town or out at the dunes. The dunes are about 12 miles out of town. There are about three covered piknik tables at the dune park. They are first come first serve. So if you get there early enough you can claim one of those for the weekend. They are real nice around 1-5pm when the sun is beating down.

My buddy is driving this time. We will be in a Maroon Ford F-250, pulling a black trailer. I will have my Raptor and my buddy has a yellow and grey Banshee.

We are driving down Friday and are staying in Odessa. I have family in Odessa. So we will be out sometime Saturday morning. We are planning on riding all day Saturday and Sunday, and going home on Monday.
