Thanks vraptor. I am actually here in El Paso, TX on a 6 month work assignment. I get up to Albuquerque about once a month to hit the casino's. It looks like there is some pretty good riding up there from the tracks on all of the hills.
Dooboarder. I have ordered the jet kit, but won't be installing it for another week or so. I know that there are very many variables that go into the jetting scenario. That's the reason that I was asking about the sparkplug's. You can run closer to the edge with a colder plug and even closer with racing fuel. I usually do run everything on the edge, but that was mostly drag racing, and that's a whole different ball game compared to running in the woods or on the MX track.

I remember reading it in here.. a guy said his frame had cracked..started at the footpeg junction..then after a series of replies the conclusion was made that because he flipped his linkage around it had aided in making his frame crack. It changed his suspension geometry making it work differenlty. a way that it was not deisgned for and instead of absorbing big impacts, he was bottoming out and casing it enough to cuase the breakage. The linkage isn't designed to work flipped....you are actually making the shock work less effectively.

thats a good point joeyd, I did not see that post, but I remember dirtwheels had an article on the baja mod raptor starting to crack at the same point after running the baja, probably just a weak point in the frame design, you would loose some of your suspension by flipping the linkage. probably best just to get a kit from durablue or whomever to lower your bike.
zrwhat: we have some awesome hills here the kind that leave quads in a heaping wreck if not careful, but fun if you have the ponys to stay the course, I am more of a baja kind of rider lots of that out here, nothing like getting 60-70 miles into the desert through bike pounding trails, sand, rocks, hills and empty riverbeds
