I just installed a new set of American Star +2+1 a-arms on my Raptor. They're the ones with the Heim joints instead of ball joints. I took it for a spin today on some decent trails. WOW! That's all I could think and say. This thing flies! I knew she had alot of power but I wasn't able to use it all until now. I have some extended Fastline steel braided brake lines on order. Next weekend I'm gonna race it for the first time. My wife and my 4 year old son are gonna race as well. It's a benefit for the NYPD and WTC victims. Anyways, this thing kicks some serious butt! It handles way better. And, it seems I can use the power alot easier. I would recommend this setup to everyone. I have some aftermarket Fox shocks for now. Eventually, I'd like to get some Elkas or TCS's. Just thought I'd let you guys know.

I won the set on e-bay and only paid $400 for the setup. They were a little tricky to set up. There was alot of adjusting to make em' right. I won't go back to the stockers. They're on e-bay right now. Like I said, I need to get some Elkas or TCS's and I'll be one really happy camper. Oh, I also have a stock swingarm that is in the shop that is going to be extended 2 inches. I hope that's not too much. If it is, I'll just sell it. Or, just keep it for the dunes. Anyone have a +2 swingarm and +2+1 a-arms?

 

I here you.I have a +2 swingarm and +2 a-arms and its perfect.You'll love the set up.I had to go with a durablue axle to get the back as wide as the front.Dura Blue axle is 2" wider than a LSR raptor axle.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
