i have a 96' blaster. when i crank it up and put on full choke, it runs high, and has a leak on the left side of the engine where the head meets the reed cage part. it also revs really really high when i pull in the clutch after riding hard. when i ride very easy, it doesn't rev high at all....... but. not it won't idle or anything... someone told me that the high reving was that the throttle cable was sticking, but then i asked my atv mechanic and i told him the problem...... he said it sounded like i have an air leak in the engine somewhere...... sure enough, i cranked it up that day and i saw the leak and felt it... but is that the problem though that is making it rev up high when the clutch is engaged and it not idleing????.........

Your problem is the fact that when the bike gets hot it is leaning out because of the leak. You need to identify where the leak is and fix it. The easy fix is probably just buying or making a new intake gasket.
