top speed of wolverine
#4
I hate to burst your bubble YFS20099, but someone is gonna say something about that because it's not necessarily the truth. There was a string on here not long ago that discussed this in depth, and there were alot of people who's bikes had different top end speeds. There are alot of factors that affect any bike's top end performance, other than modifications. Factors like tire pressure and tire condition, age of bike, grade of fuel, altitude (air pressure), and temperature of enviornment.... just to name a few. I've seen my own bike vary 5mph or more from day to day depending on just the temperature outside.

I had my stock wolverine clocked at shenango with some friends with a gun.
Cool moist air, not raining
58 Mph. Consistant with multiple speed runs.
5 days later,
warm sunny day I could not get over 55.
With MANY Attempts. ????
I'm no expert. but, 55 to 58 is the most speed I personally could attain.
