I know someone who is going to put a Honda 650 motorcycle motor on a Yamaha Blaster frame. Personally I think he is an idiot because if that they is aligned perfectly the chain will never stay on. And because the only reason he is doing it is because he wants something that will dust my warrior and my brothers mojave. He thinks that it will be so fast, but news flash the 650 motor was meant for a motorcycle thus turning one wheel when it has to pull two it will slow the motor down. OPINIONS PLEASE!

A blaster frame wasnt made for any power. Look at the brakes! Look at the suspension! You will easily be able to beat him on a trail, think of the added weight on the poor suspension and brakes. He will kill himself and everyone around him...tell him to find a different frame. You should be able to outhandle him easily right now..let him do the motor swap, say nothing, play it cool. Then hit some tight wooded trails and say goodbye.

An engine that big will bust the frame. Putting a Warrior engine in a Blaster will bust it. The blaster components will nto be ablw to hold it!

I have a 99 blaster with boyesen reeds, ebc clutch, maxxis razr tires,rk chain and sunstar sprockets. It will beat any mojave, and in the tight wood trails it will beat the warrior if the blasters brakes are workin right. (which really never happens, even when there new the brakes dont work right.) but if you have a hydo. on the back it will smoke the warrior in the woods.
Trust me i have been there done that!
