took my new griz out for its first encounter in the woods and it was great. but the cooling fan on the radiator seems to run loads more than my rubicon. i know the engines lots bigger. also, how do you know if the overheat light works. the rube comes on and goes off when you turn the key. like a check. hey, the bulb ain't burnt out. what about the griz? take your chances? any input out there? the outside temp was only 65. i'm being careful to break it in like the book says. plenty of fluid in her. is it cuz she's new and not broke in?

We own both the 660 and the Rubicon. The 660 fan will come on and stay on a ton more than the Rubicon will.

Mine ran a lot at first also, but after putting close to 400 miles on it now it only comes on in warm weather say 70 degrees or so. A new motor is relatively tight and will produce more friction and heat. As the parts wear in and polish the friction is reduced and so is the heat.GOOD LUCK HAMBONE
