The big PMC scam!
#1
What is it? PMC is a company from FLA. that Sells re-manufactured motors for Quads, PWC and others. You buy a motor, they charge you a core amount so when you send back your blown up motor they refund your core amount, or so they say!.
I bought a motor for my WaveRunner in June. It took 2 months to get here. I sent the core back. They did not refund me. I called many times, no answer. I finally got someone, they said that they did not recieve the core. I got the tracking number, it said what day and time the desk girl signed for it, they finally said they will refund my credit card, 1 month later, no refund.
Every time I call the boss is in a meeting. Last week I got a refund for $50, It was supposed to be $580. Still can't get through to them. Don't know if I can take them to court.
POINT IS: Do not do business with companies like this. They are just out there to rip you off!

oh yeah, it's fraud brother. Another point...call the credit card company and and have them reverse the charges. They generally will do this pretty quickly, especially if it is not something you do all the time. What this will also do is charge their merchant account for the money, and cause them grief if this happens often...they can lose their abil;ity to accept credit cards pretty quickly..

call the credit card company and dispute the charges.you will have to send them a letter stating what happened and they will get one from the company.you will need all of youre reciepts and i would make an aditional point that you had to wait so long for youre product originaly.tell them any charges to you for the core is unacceptiable.they will credit youre card almost immedietly till it gets staritned out. i had a problum with recreation unlimited (advertises in dirt wheels)they sent me a yellow rear fender for a lt500 and i ordered white took 2 months to recieve .they wanted to give me a 10.00 credit, yeah right.i sent it back per there instructions and they refused it.they tried to say i never sent itliars shaddy not trust worthy.id never ride again if they were the only place to buy parts.now i have a 30.00 fed x bill.
to make a long story short my credit card got fully refunded, the total price of the fender includeing inital shipping,,,i than contacted fed ex and explained the situation to them,i still had not paid for the return shipping(they tried to bill me)than turned it over to a collection agency...the shipping charges were billed to recreation unlimited.when all is said and done i have a free fender, less my time writing letters and making phone calls..you are the consumer and the consumer is always right,do not give up a 50.00 credit proves they owe you money.
