I have a 97 Warrior that I am wanting to do some mods to over the winter. It is pretty much stock, with the exception of a K&N filter. Can anyone give any ideas without completely beaking me? i am mainly looking for pipe suggestions, and maybe some engine mods. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used an fmf megamax 2 silencer with and fmf powerbomb header on my warrior and i love it, awesome sound, big gains over stock. Big Gun and WB also make a really good full systems, i have heard great things about them. since you already have a k&n i would recommend getting the k&n kit without the filter and a proflow kit(ive heard good things about these too), then after you've rejetted get a better set of tires, and re-gear to your type of riding, With that your quad should be ripping pretty good, if you've got the money then after that id get a cam, stiffer valve springs, hi-compression piston, porting, and other headwork, if your still not happy with that then check out fourstroketech.com and get one of their bore/stroke kits, after your motor is woken up you will need to adjust your suspension to your settings or if you still have money to burn get a set of elka or axis. but if your looking not to spend alot of money id just get one of the pipes i listed, the k&n kit or a dynojet kit, a proflow kit and new tires and re-gear, they shouldn't cost too much if you spend wisely.
