be aware if you go with taller tires, you probley need some aftermarket pieces to get your low end back.

I would recommend bear claws. These tires are awsome. i just got a pair and I love them. my power through on the trail hassent really changed.you would think bigger tires would make it tippy less sporty and bad handling but its just the opposite. On these tires i can make it fish tail and burn out like nothin. and because of the taller tires, it lowers the gearin and it makes it so you have more top speed.

I agree the Bear Claws are a good tire for the Wolverine. Just dont go over 10" wide.
And I suggest the .190 aluminum rims w/2" offset. Makes the bike feel real nice in the turns

I would also suggest looking at black waters or even vampires. Both are great for mud.

a buddy of mine owns a 00 wolverine and has been doing a lot of checking on aftermarket tires for his machine and has decided on the bear claws! great all around ( could do better for mudding - but perform pretty well there too) thanks for your reply on the (00 kodiak vs 00 wolverine)

Thanks gentleman for your input Im gonna get 4 lighter rims and the Bearclaw set up.
So far they seem the best setup for more sport riding.
Thanks.
