Bottoming Out!
#1
Well I have lowered the Raptor down to an acceptable lever. The handling is excellent, right on par with the 400ex's. It is excellent in the trails, but I am having problems with large jumps. I have maxed out the front springs settings, but I still bottom out when landing a big jump on all 4 wheels. If I land back wheels first I am usually ok. I know that better shocks are probably the answer, just wondering if there was anything else that could be done?

New Shocks's. I have Elka's on the way from the Quad Shop. I also lowered mine, about 3 inches. I used a set of Works Banshee shocks, which meausure 1" shorter than Raptor's. They where set up for somebody skinny so I bought a new set of Elka's.
Watch out if you flipped your rear linkage, some guys are reporting cracked frames from jumping. Sounds like your headed that way if you are hitting bottom and continue to jump.
